Installation guide for Apple Music on Linux
There is no official Apple Music client for Linux. However, you can install it using the wine compatibility layer.
Let us first update and upgrade the repositories to get all the latest versions of software.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Install wine from your terminal:
sudo apt install wine
Go to the web browser and search for itune.exe on search bar. Download the Windows version of it.
Go to the Downloads directory and open your terminal there:
From here, it would take a little time to load, and the installer will launch.
Alternatively, you can also download the Apple Music from snap package installer.
sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install apple-music-electron
Once installed, you can launch the application from the application grid/menu.
This is how you can install Apple Music client on the Linux Desktop. You can now log into your account and play music.
