Handcase will launch Moblin applications -- August 19, 2009
Handcase, a Brazilian software company, is bringing its applications to Moblin. The company says that it has 346 applications for Palm devices, and now it's targeting Moblin (and also Android). Here is the announcement. (Pay no attention to the fractured English, it's pretty clear what they’re trying to say.).

Mobile processor market heating up
The mobile processor market will grow 22.3 percent over the next five years, says an In-Stat forecast. The report calls mini-notebooks the "primary battle ground" for new ARM and x86 products launching this year. An analyst report, just published, says that there will nearly 33 million netbooks shipped in 2009.
